Where do I get my PIN?
Once you are deemed
eligible for Online Web Registration, you should expect to receive either a:
-
Letter by post if you are a new DIT student or
-
Email to your DIT student email account if you are a returning
student.
This
communication will state your student number and PIN if you are a new student.
If
you are a returning student, your PIN is the same PIN you use for viewing your
exam results.
I keep getting an incorrect PIN error message, what do I do?
If
you can’t remember your PIN, then you should use the 'Forgot PIN'
functionality. This will prompt you to answer your security question, and thus
enable you to reset your PIN.
I have tried using the Forgot PIN, but am getting a 'Security Check Failed' message.
You will get this message if you have not yet set-up a security question. If you cannot remember your PIN, please call us on one of these numbers: 01-4027000, 01-4023883.
I’m
getting an Invalid Student ID error.
Are
you typing your ID number correctly? Ensure that the student ID is a single
letter (C or D) followed by all NUMBERS. Ensure that there are no spaces
either before or after your student ID. Please ensure you are using a capital
C or D when inputting your student number.
What do I do if I still can't logon?
-
If you have received a communication from DIT regarding Online Web Registration
and you are still unable to logon successfully, contact registration.service@dit.ie stating details of any error message, your student
number, name and programme code.
-
If you are a part-time student in the Conservatory of Music and Drama and you
are still unable to logon successfully, contact registrations.conservatory@dit.ie stating details of any error message and your student
number.
